What's with all these new single stack pistols coming from manufacturers? Do they know something we don't know? Was not low count mags part of Feinstein's agenda?

They've been around for 100 + years.

Single stack pistols tend to conceal easier. Manufacturers are responding to consumers.


I doubt manufacture are at all concerned over legislation news of late. If they were, they would be speaking up right beside the NRA.

Thin griped handguns had been a neglected market for awhile. IMO they improve comfort, control, and concealability for me.

The UN does not make a distinction between single and double stack, they would prefer you have neither.

Ya... the difference in double vs single stack 1911's is minimal, especially if you customize the polymer grip on a 2011...

The same cant be said of all polymer double stack guns.
