    Hello all,

I recently bought a Norinco SKS and SKS tech sights sight off two INGOers (thanks guys).

The tech sight did not come with a takedown pin (or whatever you call the thing that runs through the tech sight, through the receiver cover and to back to the tech sight on the other side). The buyer disclosed this to me before I bought it, but I got a good deal on it and we kept the money/parts in the INGO family of fine firearms owners.

Right now I'm trying to decide what to use to fasten the tech sight to the receiver cover (and keep the cover on the rifle).

I figure that if I don't come up with anything better, a long machine screw and a locking nut will work, but I would like something that is easier to strip without tools and it wouldn't hurt if it was a little less Frankenstein looking.

I figure that since INGO supplied me with the rifle and the sight, that you guys might also supply me with a clever idea.

    So, any suggestions?

    Thanks, TBE

You may contact Tech sights and see about getting a replacement pin for it. I try and use the appropriate parts whenever I can, but have on occasion "bubba'd" something to work. :D
