Not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but here it goes. Can Cerakote gun finish be applied over Glock's Tenifer finish?

Yep.

Tenifer is a metal treatment, so its embedded in the metal itself. You can coat the slide in whatever finish you want.

still want to media (not bead) blast the surface so the cerekote adheres properly. and degrease degrease degrease. prep work is more important than the actual application of the coating.
