wanting to change the stock on my slr 95 and want to make sure its 922r compliant. i know how many parts needed, but which parts would be either easiest or the best parts to change out?

The easiest to change are the stock parts, and the disconnector. If the muzzle device is pinned on, it doesn't count.

The reason I usually suggest the disconnector is that it does not affect the feel of the trigger itself.

While I can't personally verify, I have read that "some" SLR-95s were actually sold with US-made fire-control groups (3 parts) already in place. These are supposed to have the letters "GTC" (Global Trade Company) on the parts

Supposedly, those also had a US-made gas piston, for a total of 4 US-made parts.

Whether the above is true or not, the following seems to be a good guide to 922r compliance with AK-pattern rifles. There are others out there, just Google "922r compliance AK".
