Most of these units ship out of the same factory in China.
    Then they are re branded.

The differences with Champion, is they support the product.
My Generator is an "Extreme Power", but Champion also lists it.

I would get something a little bigger than the one you linked.

A year or so ago a couple of fast talking guys were trying to sell me a demonstration generator out of the back of a dually work truck in the parking lot of Home Depot. I want to say the name on it was "Durostar" (could be wrong)... The totality of the situation did not give me confidence and I said "No Thanks". Later the same day the same guys tried to sell me and my Dad a different size generator with the same demo pitch in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company... Net: I'd be leary.

There are plenty of good units out there. I am biased towards Honda power. Even though they are a bit pricer - the engines will run forever and will be very reliable.... That is what you what in a generator!

YOu can get a Champion at Gander or Tractor Supply for 3-400 and take it home.
Generators are like guns you can get one for whatever amount you want to pay and you generally get what you pay for.
