Our wiring at home is not nominal, I have smart bulbs now but would like to still use switches sometime, I am tired of talking to alexa BUT there is not a single switch box in our house that is a single besides the bedrooms. Every box has 2-4 switches in it and I don't want to break individual switches out and all of the smart switches I find are the wide type "button".

If there was a switch with a standard profile I could keep the old switches that don't need to be smart and add in the smart switch.

    these are on sale

Do you have a Zwave compatible hub of some sort? I'm using some of these (though I use the Decora style version) with an alarm.com 2 Gig panel as my Zwave hub, and I have been able to control them with Alexa after I enabled the alarm.com skills on Alexa. You should be able to use with most any zwave compatible hub and then enable the right skills in Alexa to discover the devices.

    a few more here:

There may be some versions out there that don't need the Zwave compatible hub but you may have to dig a bit more to find those.
