Smith and Wesson 1911

I month or so ago I purchased a Smith and Wesson 1911 and I love mine. Those that have one please let me know what you think.

For my 1500th post, a S&W story, GREAT !!!!! I shot a S&W 1911, in Tx., in 2004, while deployed, and I fell in love with it... I shot it at a range, in Corpus Christi, every week for two months... 50-100 rounds each time.... GREAT GUN !!!!!

good guns but the only thing i don't like about them is that the sights are smith style sights. I like my 1911 to be completely compatible with the standard 1911's just for parts sake.

I love my Smiths. I have two commander sized scandium models and one 3" pro series.

Does anyone know for certain if .22 conversions readily fit on these S&W's?

I have a Government SW1911, and I love it. I have about 75 rounds through it, haven't had any problems with it at all.
