    Yeah I was a lot younger in 1985 (as was everyone else.) Sold that 66-1 for $300 (paid $275). A snubby 19 or 66 is on my list too. I still can't believe my wife likes the GP100 more than the Model 19.

    We were all much younger and much less smart in 1985, although none of us had anywhere near the realization of such, at the time.

    Oh so many guns and cars I let get away from me, that I wish I had today!

    I traded $100 and a beat up Model 28 for my 19 way back in 1987, the 28 was kinda big and heavy to carry compared to the 19.

    Wow those were the days I paid $275 for a 70 series lightweight Commander in great shape a few months after I purchased the 19, my wife still complains about how much I spent on that 1911.

    I guess that was a lot of money I only made like $1000 a month!
