Thanks I got a box of bulk Remington when I bought the gun and shot about 70 rounds with abouts 4 no fires. I cleaned it afterwards. I will try it out some more tomorrow

no fires are just a reality of 22's as i have found out. if the round doesn't want to fire it just won't fire no matter what gun it is in.

Mine has also been rather picky, though it seemed to do better with higher velocity rounds. I've stopped using it and prefer my 22/45 - the 22A is on the list to get sold to someone who does like them.

I went through about 250 rds of CCI minimags when mine was new. It fed every one without problem.

Since then, it's gone through roughly 2500 rds of Federal Bulk(redish box from wally world) Very, very few issues, i'll get a FTE once in a blue moon.

Also went through 500 or so Win xpert HV, with no problems.

The only thing mines not liked were some Remington bulk, and some 20+ yr old stuff i found in the back of a closet.

I'd suggest CCI minimags or Fed bulk.
