    I have an old model Smith & Wesson 38 cal revolver it appears to have been re-blued I picked it up in a trade so round count is unknown. Priced to move $125.00

    I know you said that it is .38 S&W, but that round is considerably shorter than a .38 S&W SPL. and the length of the cylinder appears to be the right length for the latter round. Have you tried chambering a 38 S&W SPL. round?
