    +1 on the hi tek is incorrectly cured ive been researching reloading with my buddy as we are just starting and he sent me a link frim the cz forum starting on another issue and someone complained about smoke and many people said that if it's not cured 110% it causes all symptoms you are complaining about. Again I'm new to reloading also but I can share that link if your interested.

    Have you tried lubing the old way with a quality soft lube that's correct for what caliber you are shooting?
    And if so did they smoke as bad?
    What lube were you using?

    I cast my pistol bullets with a tumble lube style bullet (.452" and .356") and then tumble lube with Alox. Only time I have excess smoke is when I load up some range ammo with Red Dot. Next to real black powder, it's the dirtiest powder that I have seen.
    I should market a line of self defense ammo, loaded with Red Dot. "Pop a cap in their a$$ and pop smoke, at the same time"
