There aren't many serious people on the "left" that bought his story. He was roundly un-trusted from when the evidence started coming out.

If ever there was a case for un-personing someone, he's a good one. Also **** Fox Entertainment for backing him up even after today's ****.

Something very hinky going on here. Methinks there will be a reporter or two (not necessarily from Chitown) start to dig into this it stinks so bad. At least, I hope so.

One article I read explained that when the prosecutors office up there says "my bad" and drops a case they are good enough to explain what they did wrong before they drop it. That is the SOP. In this case they are explaining nothing.

The only reason I see a reporter digging into this is because it went national, big time. If it were just local it would be easier to bully the local reporters, but you'll have folks start digging around that aren't intimidated by Chicago's political machine.

This is a good thing. Teaches that if we lie, hate crime ourselves, conspire to be a victim and make race tensions higher, waste thousands of hours of police time and resources and even more in tax payer dollars......you can take the Smollet Defense and have 16 felonies dropped and not be punished. Sets a valuable precedent
