    Thats a juvenile Water Moccasin, since you live damn near in Canada, I wouldn't sweat it. You live farther north than they do.

    Good call, by the way. I snagged that pic from a wikipedia when reading about snakes native to Indiana. I was trying to figure out what those yooge gray/brown things were that I used to see sunning themselves on the R-H campus.

    Heck, I STILL can't find it, and I saw that SAME photo last year!
    Oops, sorry. I didn't realize I had posted this one before.

    There is a Copperhead barely visible just above he horizontal stick in the center of the frame.

    After you gave us the hint, I had to increase the magnification on my screen and I could barely see the side of the snake! That is some world-class camouflage going on.

    The only way I knew he was there, was because I watched him go there. They blend in well.
