I personally use the A-Zoom snap caps (they are red) and don't have any issues. I change them out about every three months as the extractors tear the rims up. Call me paranoid but when dry firing using snap caps even on striker guns makes me feel slightly better.
I have an M&P 2.0 in 9mm and the tip of the firing pin fractured off last winter while I was dry firing. I was dry firing a lot. Not an expensive thing to replace, just inconvenient. So snap caps it is from now on for dry firing.
