    And this darn eagle comes out of nowhere, swoops down, and tries to fly off with me.

    Fortunately, I weigh a "LITTLE" over two hundred pounds, and the darn eagle dislocated both talons, and sprained his left wing.

    I had an Owl land on a branch next to my stand. It was about 30 minutes before sunrise and close enough to touch with the barrell of my gun. Armed and scared of a damned bird all at the same time.

    Seriously, der720, I've had the same thing happen several times.

    Also had a squirrel run up and down ME while on stand. That's a weird feeling the first time it happens.

    I do like the owls the best, though. They can fly through the most dense woods, and never touch a limb. Awesome flyers. Swooping and swishing. The sound of those big wings beating the air on a silent autumn morning makes my hair stand on end.

    That bird had every right to eat u. U are only a human, how dare u not give yourself up to such a worthy creature. Now that bird will tell the story of the BIG one that got away.
