You grab your backpack(already packed with a handgun) equiped with a few days food and water along with the essential fire starting material ect..and you head for the woods.

What else is in your backpack?

    Any tips?

Season appropriate clothes, knives, axe, blankets, ammo, ammo, guns, guns, medical supplies, how to books, Bible, survival books, plant identify books, salt... this is why I don't plan on going to just hike for SHTF.

    My pack

A good fixed blade knife, a leatherman, 50 feet of paracord, a trashbag, a triangular bandage, some fishhooks, a penlight, compass, maps, e-tool. That's realistically what I would have.

Since your hypothetical situation has me evading a mob, then hypothetically I would have: camo sticks, camo netting, mini 14 with drum magazine, remington 700, FN FAL, lots of sandbags to build a bunker in the woods...
