Wow! I was blown away, not just by the gentleman's skill, but his humility and gratitude for the day he was given.

It reminds me again how I have been blessed by the service and sacrifices of tens of thousands of servicemen and women in the past and present. God bless them all!

Truly a great story and a great soldier and American, my utmost respect to him and those that made the whole event possible!

As others have said the vid choked me up and once again reminded me why they were the Greatest generation!

Whew.... the people of that generation mean so much to this country. We all should consider ourselves fortunate if we are half as good.

    +1 for reminding us

I really think they should do more of these.
We the people own men like that everything.

It is great to sit down and **** chat with them.
But the dust always kicks up when that happens.
Stupid dust let me wipe my eyes.

Very nice video, So much knowledge with the old vets. I love talking to them. They were indeed our best generation!

I would love to sit down and have a cup of coffee with that old timer and just listen to his stories.

It is great to sit down and **** chat with them.

"They/them" are at a VA hospital that's very likely not too far away from most of us. Just a thought.

That's just amazing!! Makes me think of stories of my Grandpa on my mom's side of the family. Truely an example of how our WW2 vets truely are our Greatest Generation. If that don't bring a tear to your eye, you're not a true American!
