I’m selling my older sawmill. It’s a 1993 WoodMizer LT25G11 I bought new. It has the trailer and log deck packages. I’ve sawn a -lot- of lumber on this thing. I did upgrade the original 11hp engine with a Kohler Command Pro 15hp with electric start. The new engine has appr. 100 hours on it. It saws great and will last forever as these things are well built with easy to replace wear parts readily available from WoodMizer.
The -only- reason I am selling it is because three years ago I upgraded mills to the next size up with power log handling and I thought I would use the old one more for edging and specialty work but that just didn’t happen. So rather than let it sit there and gather rust and cobwebs, I’m selling.
I’d love to see it go to a loving home as this beast has been a part of my life almost as long as I’ve owned the Ranch.
It weighs about 2500lbs and has no brakes, so a truck will be needed to tow. I can deliver free to a reasonable distance from the Ranch (an hour or so), or for some extra cash a little further (I do NOT want to be driving it halfway across the country) say $5 a mile outside of 40 miles.
The LT28 mill WM currently offers comes closest and with similar options runs $16,000 plus tax (with 19hp engine and 21ft bed, this is 16’) and is a 3-4 month build time with cash up front.
$7000 firm. I will include several hours of training on maintaining the mill and sawing operations until you feel comfortable running it. Near Huron, Indiana.
