I've seen several times during my time here that people have suggested having separate forums in the classifieds for handguns and longguns.
The solution is simple, though. When sellers post an item in the Firearms forum, they should include a tag for handgun or longgun. Then when buyers want to limit the search to a specific category, it's as simple as doing a search for that tag.

This would work, but only if people start to put those tags on their WTS/WTT posts. Currently only 4 threads in Firearms have the handgun tag, but they are from before June 2009. The mods don't have to do everything for us, folks. We can make INGO better just by having smarter usage habits!
