I couldn't believe I made this shot! My friend and I were mainly there to shoot some clays but decided to walk over to the pistol range just for practice since we were already there. After burning through 20-30 rounds on paper, we decided to try something a little more difficult. We set up some coins on the pallet our targets were hanging on and walked off 10 paces.

After a few close shots at nickels, I clipped one but it was nothing to brag about. So I set up a quarter on my side of the pallet and made sure that I was at 10 paces. I drew my pistol, took my time, gave a slow, steady squeeze, and BANG! I thought I had just knocked it off the pallet, which is what most of the other coins were doing, but sure enough I had hit it! On the first attempt even!

I know some of you can hit a dime at 50 yards with your non-supported off hand wearing sunglasses at night, but this is definitely a brag token for a couple months! Thanks for letting me share! If anyone was curious, I was shooting 115 gr. steel-cased TulAmmo I got for $9.70ish at Wal-mart. Great accuracy for the cheap stuff!

I once shot the lid off of a filled up water jug at 10-15 yards after I told my brother I was aiming for the lid. I had the same feeling.

It's cool you shot it with a 9. I do it all the time with a .45, but the quarter simply ceases to exist in this dimension and I don't have anything cool to show off.;)

You'll just have to take my word for it.:D
