Son wants a 12g autoloader for Christmas. Maybe Moss 930. Any thoughts?

I was in Triggers in Lawrenceburg yesterday. They have a Remmy 1187-SP Deer with a Leupold scope for <$500. Looked to be bone stock, used field barrels can be had not alot of money.

Jetta, funny story, we fought left-right eye dominance years ago. I actually have a pair of safety glasses with the left eye blacked out.

He wanted to shoot a right-hand thumb hole stock 22 and trying as a lefty was a no-go. Dad wasn't going to start buying left handed.

The struggle is real.

Maybe he's a lefty.

I really want to replace my 1100 with a Mossberg. I just don't like the ergonomics of the Remington.

I shoot left handed but was raised shooting thousands of rounds through Remingtons. If I try to shoulder a MOssberrg or Browning, it just doesn't feel right. The point of aim is different. I am sure I could break myself with enough repetition.

I'd say he's clearly an American boy with good taste in shotguns. My first 12 gauge was a mossy 500 combo with a hastings .50 Cal barrel to boot. Still regret trading it. And I'm a Remmy guy.
