I got this one stuck harder than the original. I think the older crowd here might appreciate it more. Chick can rock an upright, AND she has some wicked pipes. Reminds me of Billie Holliday. (I wanna shoot the engineer for not micing her bass. )

(If you like non-traditional covers, check out that channel's other music... This guy switches up all kinds of songs and arranges them in alternate genres)

I love this. And you're right about micing the bass. :(

This one is kind of a hanger......

When we bought our little farm down in Perry County we were driving down the dirt road following the realtor to see it for the first time...As we pulled up my wife looked at the beat up 120 year old shack, immediatley fell in love with it, looked at me and grinned and yelled (in a very loud voice), "TIN ROOF!!!!! Rusted.." and then started singing "Love Shack" for the next two months as we got the place back in livable condition...Still the ritual when we go...The minute she sees it she sings "TIN ROOF! Rustic...I tried telling her it's rusted but she says it's actually (or should have been written) "rustic" so that's the way she is going to sing it...

This is my one disco song that I like....I have sang it Bluegrass style at an 18th Century reenactment...Bourbon is a wonderful ice breaker....It was a funny night at Friendship....A bunch of twenty something French Regiment reenactors from Fort Wayne in a F & I War group and a couple of Southern Indiana River Rats collaborating (while in period clothing) and singing "Play That Funky Music" accoustically with Banjos, Fiddles, and a Guitar.....

    It was surreal......

Wonderwall is still there... When I was trying to sleep last night, I kept hearing "Because maybe... you're gonna be the one to save me..."
