My son turned one today. When he woke up from his nap, I was in the process or cleaning my new AR15. He looked up at me and plain as day said "gun". Almost brought a tear to my eye. That's my Boy. It is never too early to learn about gun safty.

    For real?

    Congrats!

Some people never learn how to swim, shoot, or sail a boat on a lake. You're just getting started on the road to opportunity.

It's his b-day, he was just asking where his present is. Or asking if that was his present.

    Awesome! Happy birthday, little man.

My 2-year-old has been mispronouncing "scoop" as "shoot" lately Gets funny looks when we eat out, and she is busy "shooting" her food! (SHOOT! Num, num, num..... SHOOT!)

    Kids are awesome.

I remember those days, not entirely fondly, but that was another issue. Mine's 16 now. Lower maintenance but higher expense. Treasure these days. They're what makes life worth remembering.

I would be thrilled if he is more into guns than video games. I can not wait to take him hunting and fishing. It is sad to see kids not learning the skills we learned as kids.
