    Folks,

I found some Independence 5.56 mm FMJ SOST ammunition at Cabela's. I reviewed what it is on the web, but was wondering if folks on this board have experience shooting it. If so, what is your opinion? It was 50 cents per round which is an average pre panic price per round if it is decent ammunition.

Right now 50c/round is a good deal for anything brass cased in 5.56 that goes 'boom'. Unfortunately, I bought a significant quantity of the stuff and have not yet managed to get to the range with it, so I can't help regarding performance

I agree 50¢ a round is a good price. Has anyone on the forum had experience using these rounds?

OK well, some should be arriving soon and round about March I should have a chance to try it. I will let you know my opinion.
