Tax dollars go to ukraine, money gets siphoned off to zelensky's friends, friends send some to shell corporations that pay for bogus legal work with a law/lobby firm in dc. Back to the decision makers pocket and all perfectly legal.

Taxpayers are the only losers and everybody else in the ring is laughing all the way to the bank.

There is likely some truth to that. If congress criters go into private meetings with alphabet agencies against things like warrantless FISA searches and come out in favor, it seems reasonable to suspect whatever leverage used for that could be used for anything.

I was thinking what could they have on Mike Johnson to get him to do the things he’s doing now.

They don’t need to have anything on anyone.

They can just create it out of thin air.

In all probability at this point, even if you were snow white, if the military/industrial/surveillance administrative state wants you gone, you are gone.

Edward Snowden spoke of parallel construction or some such term. In essence the NSA would pass information to a LE agency obtained illegally, with enough cover to help the agency claim discovery.

With the government's known ability to access and backdoor systems does anyone really think they won't dump kiddie porn or anything else in an adversary's devices? It is simply a matter of what the administrative state desires to achieve.

The behaviors of a number of elected representatives are difficult to understand unless they are compromised.

Why would anyone primary her? Were there folks recruiting someone to run against her? Were they also working to get those candidates on the ballot, funding them?

In fairness, neither did I in this particular race that I do not even know where it is. The days of complaining that ”they“ didn’t do what you wished “they” would are over, we have to own it.

Yes, as Rush said in their song “If you choose not to decide, You still have made a choice”. I am not picking on you personally, I am just using your posts to try to raise awareness to the whole forum that we must act, we must fight, we must not be complacent.

I posted a Tucker Carlson interview yesterday with a guy that laid it out very simply how red states elect the worst candidates, apathy was the word. Maybe try to volunteer to help a candidate, meet some people, go from there. Attend your county Lincoln Day events, meet people. Those you talk to, get them to join you.

If your life is in the balance, would you want a gun that works 40% of the time or none at all in a gun fight? That is the difference between the republicans and democrats, one fails often, the other is a complete failure. That is a difference…
