Anybody else watching this? Looks interesting. I just caught it halfway through and hit record on my DVR so it's going back and recording the whole thing. Heh, god bless technology. Thoughts on this?

What channel is it on standard cable?

    65 I believe.

Hhmm, watching it right now. Pretty annoyed at the way it's being presented. Case in point: They interview Mayor Bloomberg about gun laws. Not a single pointed question. But they interview the president of a gun advocate group, and the interviewer argues his points and has an incredulous look on his face when he says that it 9/11 could have been prevented by armed citizens on the hijacked flights.

"ARE YOU ADVOCATING THAT A GUN FIGHT AT 30,000 FEET WOULD HAVE BEEN AN IMPROVEMENT ON THE SITUATION?!?!"

Saw that, and the unfortunate argument on a gunfight at 30,000 feet that could have saved 3000 lives and the World Trade Center buildings, and Pentagon. The sad thing is that if there was a gunfight that prevented the two planes from crashing into the Twin Towers, people would have argued that the gunfight was a bad thing because it killed 150 or so people, assuming the planes went down in unpopulated areas. We would never have known that 3000 people were about to die, and New York and the rest of the USA would never be the same again.

When they interviewed Bloomberg, I just about lost it. The rest of the show was reasonable.

It is unfortunate the you are probably right on with your comment. Had it happened that way and the planes still went down. We would have probably seen a whole slew of new laws passed to make us feel safer. But maybe we wouldn't have the Department of Homeland Insecurity. :dunno:

But maybe we wouldn't have the Department of Homeland Insecurity. :dunno:

DHS is a monster that has to much power right now, their powers let them encompass to wide of a range of things not related to US Security.

To prove a point, why is DHS involved in the current oil crisis in the G.o.M.

It's need to be focused on Security, plain and simple.
