Speer Gold Dot 38 special +P 135gr 'short barrel' ammo all dried up?

I was looking to buy some more short barrel 38 gold dots online but it seems the supply has dried up everywhere! I can't find the ammo at any of the major online retailers I know of.

Anyone know anything?

The bullets have been hard to find, but when I finally got some, I started loading my own. Mine are much cheaper. I can actually afford to shoot some for sighting-in and practice.

How much are you saving by your estimates? I never really considered the money I might save rolling my own SD ammo, I'm sure I could duplicate the factory ammo, or perhaps do even better.

I haven't figured it in a while, but I'd say I'm saving at least 60% of the factory loaded price.
