Spring Fever

I am just about climbing the walls with spring fever. It's that long spell after the Super Bowl that is the worst time of the year....My thoughts turn to fishing at some time or other, just about every day. Get tackle ready, get license, Lake use stickers for my boats, etc.
Anybody else suffering from this affliction?...Can't wait to get my jon boat out and go crappie fishing....

We've been waiting for the ground to freeze to get out in the woods and split firewood. Which we finally did Saturday. There's a weeks + worth of work. I've got extra gloves if you need some!

That's a nice clean set-up. I have a pond out back behind the house but its been too cold and they aren't biting. I'm itching to get out there once it gets warmer out.

Me too.. Don't have the boat to fish in but I'm about to loose my mind walking past my Jeep wrangler each day in the garage. I know I could get it out and drive it but I really want to drop the top and loose the doors..

I feed a fireplace every single day all winter. has an insert and saves me about 800 gallons of propane every winter. And I like the smell and also the work involved. Helps pass the time.....John

I've always told the wife that Feb. is the longest month of the year for me
here in Indiana.

I am ready for sun and warmth. Have not been fishing much in years but thinking about making a bit of time for the lake. The cold weather and work is saving me ammo money. Too cold to get out and shoot very much.

February is the absolute worst. This year hasn't been too bad, though. Warmer weather and having the Super Bowl in town helped a lot. Less than 6 weeks til baseball season!
