Springfield 1911 base model.

One of the local shops has an all black Springfield base model 1911. Thier asking $510 (used) for the gun and offered me a pretty good trade for my Glock 23. Im mainly wondering if there are any specific factory options that I sould check for that would hurt reliability or performance if absent. I can live with no rail, I just want it to function well. It did appear to have pretty nice sights on it. The gun seems to be in pretty good condition.

I'm assuming it is a GI, for the most part people seem to like them and they are a good platform to upgrade/customize in the future. Also SA will warranty the gun for life if you are the first or 10th owner.

My cousin has a GI. Very awesome no frills 1911.
