this is REALLY a 1st world issue and small

but, I want others to know the SR1911 10mm has NON-Bomar, NON-LPA cut target sights. (Looks very close, but is not) The internet does not have a real solution as of yet. (Outside of modifying a rear sight to “wedge fit”) on a 10mm I prefer not to “hack something”

why did Ruger not have this as an option and not put combat sights on it? No idea.

im rather upset at it and honestly all over again, buy a damned RIA 10mm if your going to carry.

I can only hope Ruger releases some kind of combat option in their shop to replace these terrible non-dot target sights.

Interesting they would use a proprietary sight cut on a 1911 like that. I wonder if it in some way is a cost cutting measure?

yes it can be, but it’s more $ and time. The LPA and BOMAR won’t fit. And it’s un-confirmed if it was the Kimber style.

it’s so close to they should have called the spec out.

I have had this happen before. Aggravating…..yes. Fixable......Of course.
One of my TRP's had a weird cut on it and had to get dogged up in the mill. No worries brother.
Where is C'ville if I may be so bold.
