SR1911 found in Indiana?

Just wondering if anyone has found any SR1911's in Indiana yet? I've looked everywhere in the area and am yet to see one.

My local dealer (acme sports) can have one in in just a few days. Most places can order them and have them shipped to their location for you.

Ol Bob at PSS has had several but at $599 they seldom last a day.

I was at Midwest guns in South Bend, and they also have a store in Elkhart. They both have at least one in each store!!

When I was inquiring and ready to purchase if the price was right, they wouldn't budge on MSRP. Needless to say I didn't purchase one

I have had a couple in stock but they are very popular still and as others have said they usually only last a few hours after the word get out that it is in stock. They are a very impressive and well built piece.

been looking myself and couldnt find one for under 700 and i said no to that one

We have had exactly two come through to date. They appear to be very well-built, not to mention attractive-looking. Ruger is usally pretty good about having new guns ready in sufficient quantities within a short time after they are unveiled (LCR, LCP, LC9, SR40/40C), but they're dropping the ball on this one.

Yep, looks like the bigger shops in the bigger towns have them first, which is to be expected. $599 is the best price I've heard anywhere, including all the guys at rugerforum.com. My uncle is really wanting a first year production, so I'll pass the word along.
