I seen a sr1911 on ARMSLIST for 950. Which seems a little over the top to me. I was just curious how high a guy would go for one of these things? I would say the most I would pay for one would be 750. Just curious.

People tend to have more money than brains. Honestly, whatever people are willing to pay. I have seen some as high as $1250, they never sold either.

I don't know how to answer this. No one will ever tell me what they paid for one new from a dealer when I ask. Since I've never seen one in person, I have no idea what they're supposed to cost in a shop.

In the $950 range I'd be going straight for a Springfield Armory 1911 (Range Officer, Loaded Model, etc.).

I think I've seen a thread where some people said they were going for 650 +/-.

I've never seen one in a shop either.

I've only seen one in person and that wasn't too long ago! I posted a sighting in the general firearms area that day!! It's a little over $700 I believe. Madison Outdoors here in Madison. It's a pretty gun. :D

We have had 2 come into our shop so far, selling for $699 when we have them. They compare very nicely to Springfields and just a notch below Kimbers. Overall a very nice 1911 for the money.
