I would have much preferred they keep it on Saturday nights. I’ll never remember that it’s on Thursday, and on ESPN to boot.

While Ron might not have been my first choice of putting a drag racer on dirt, I think he will surprise some people.
I think it would be great to see Doug Kallitta in one of these races. Many people don't realize before he became a pro drag racer, he was a USAC champion. And Tony Pedragon owns a dirt car that he plays with and even ran at the Chili Bowl.

I agree, Saturday nights seemed to be more of a fit. Network doesn't really matter to me, sucks for the folks that don't have access to it though.

SRX Cancels Thunder Road Visit, Awards 2024 Date - SPEED SPORT

The July 20 SRX race at Thunder Road has been canceled. Instead, a 2024 date has been awarded.

I was happy to see Paul Tracy get the boot. I like rough racing, but flat out intentionally wrecking people is ridiculous.

Me too. Watched the first race of season and missed then all since. I enjoy just sitting outside in the evening, so unless it's raining I don't think about it

Race starts at 9:00 pm tonight. As summer procedes, that puts us closer to sunset. Maybe, if the fish aren't biting, I can make it to a screen to watch...
