I did what I was "supposed" to do...went to school for higher education. Have a great, high paying job...also had to take on massive student loans to do it. Yes, I live within my means, budget hard and still live comfortably, but it isn't as easy today as it was 20, 30 or 40 years ago.

It is said that a person never really knows how successful a job they did parenting, until they see their grandkids become adults. My oldest grandson just started college, I will have to see how he works it all out before I can claim any proficiency.

Yes, I adhere to some of his teachings. They work well if income is sufficient to cover basic expenses with money left over. That isn't the case for everyone whether you want to admit it or not.

Having experience inside the current Indiana school system, there are more good schools filled with dedicated teachers and administrators than there are bad ones.

To paint them with a broad brush is wrong and an insult to many excellent educators.

I never had any kids. So... nyah! Kind of irritated that I still have to pay for others' though.
