    Spend a couple hundred more and get a good starter safe. Keeps little hands off your collection and makes it a little more difficult for the bad guys to get into as well.

    I get why you want a temp solution. Walmart is your best source, $99. Even Amazon is more expensvie at $119.22 plus $9.95 shipping.

    I would tell you either save up and get a bigger better safe, or wait until you move. If your really worried about them being stole, let a good friend store your long arms for you and keep your night stand gun at home.

    I would hate to see you get flimsy metal cabinet and have your guns damaged

    They dent pretty easily. I have one that I store ammo in and it had a small dent in the door when I took it out of the box. I bought mine at Dick's Sporting Goods by the way.
