Does anyone have experience with Stag Arms carbines? Is the 2T worth $1000 (retail)? Would it be a rifle I can hang on to for a long time? I'm also keeping my eyes open for a nice, used Daniel Defense. Help!

Stag makes a good rifle, I'm not sure if $1000 is good price though. I haven't really shopped around for one.

Looks like a nice carbine but you can find carbines for less than that! If you really want a Stag then by all means but a Rock River or DPMS is just as good for cheaper. My :twocents:

I love my Stag, I think mines a 2H (?). I dont think they're the best but not the worst either. For the money I think they're great rifle.

Stag makes a good rifle. If you like that Samson rail it's probably a decent buy @ $1k. You just don't hear about Stag as much these days (not necessarily a bad thing).

If you could find a DD rifle for a good price I'd jump on that first though.
