Pictures of the stock blank, and the begginings of the inletting proccess. the barrel channel was cut off center when i got it, so i was forced to put the reciever not in the center, hence why things are not looking quite in place.

That's the way the BBB were made... off center, that what happens when you design a rifle that has the cocking mechanism off to one side, it throws the whole center of gravity a skew.

Looks good though. BTW Jamie called Amy and wanted to go shooting this weekend, but couldn't find here 10/22

You know building a rifle with a 4 1/2 foot sight radius could be considered cheating, right?

That thing's gonna be epic once it's done.

Looking good...what will you do for a barrel? Will you add a lock to it for looks?

Shooting times is running a series on making an M1 Garand 10/22. Ist issue dealt with boring out a Garand barrel for the 22 insert and the 3nd issue is dealing with stock work.

already have the m1 barrel, liner, gas block and stock.. building one of those is on my to do list, but need some better equipment first.
