Stopped at McDonald's in Marion and Inlaws & Outlaws in Gas City. Both have pistol powder on the shelves. Seen Titegroup, Autocomp, Zip, True Blue, and HP38 at McDonalds. Inlaws and Outlaws had Red, Blue, Green, and Clay Dot, 2400, Power Pistol, and Autocomp. I know I forgot a few, but seems like things might be getting a little better. Just wanted to let you guys know...

He's a little high, but not much over the going rate in my area. My powder charge is just over a .05 cents when loading 357, so I'm not gonna complain. I feel the same way about bullets, that's why I cast all my own. The way I have it figured, I am just over .10 cents a round for 357...thats not bad at all.

Down By The Tracks in Galveston this morning had several pounds of Red Dot, Vihtouri and other pistol powders. Also CCI Winchester and Federal primers. They also made me look at Marlin 1894 in 44 mag.

It does seem that the powder situation in general is improving. I just purchased and eight pound jug of Green Dot and Red Dot online through Cabela's.

The powder I have seen outside of the 1500 is usually 25 or so a lb...seems pretty reasonable. Saw Titegroup 9 months ago for 18/lb...it crept up to 22 a lb last time I looked.
