yes sir it was a cheapo. thought it would do for now. BSA and Nebo 190 lumen light.. the quad rail i got i found a dph arms it was like 39 bucks fits like a glove. no filing or sanding just slap that bad boy on and go
I'm fine with tactical Ak's don't get me wrong, but a bsa sights and airsoft rails are just horrible Ak options. Obviously do what you want, but some better options are TWS new hinged dust cover
Or Tech sights
as far as rails go you the ultimak is awesome.
For red dots i'd stick with aimpoints as in my experience they take the heat better.
i wasnt sure if the dust cover mounts would be very sturdy, as mine has some movement in it. we'll see. as i said this will do for now. my dads got almost the same thing on his ak and it seems to work fine. thanks for the other options ill be sure to look into some of them. i appreciate the feedback
I wish I knew what the heck was going on in this thread. The OPs pic is not showing up.
If we are talking about red-dot optics mounting... I definitely like my Kalinka PK-01v v3.0 side rail mount. It holds zero, keeps the optic off the gas tube, and allows for co-witness. I never did trust any of the dust cover mounting options. No way those actually hold zero reliably.
