Went on a little ride with my sister and bro. in law to check the camp grounds and the lake, it looks like a very nice place.Have any of you all fished the lake? It has a lot of weeds and saw some lily pads. I might have to ride back with the boat and see if I can get some worms or frogs on the lily pads.

Funny that you mention it, I was just there fishing last weekend. About 5 hours spent and about 9 lost night crawlers due to bites---nothing worthwhile to show for it. Only thing I reeled in was a 4" blue gill. Very frustrating. We were fishing off the pier at one point, which is where I got all the bites. Then we moved to the dam and had nothing. Might have been an unlucky day. The park is nice though

there are a ton of small bass and crappie in here as well. I think they just dredged it last year or so.

I know a lot of people who love to camp down there. Might be worth getting a kayak or canoe in there.
