There are 4 court justices up for a "shall they be retained" vote on the ballot in a few weeks and I'm looking for information on major cases they've ruled on and/or why they might deserve to get the boot. Please point me to any relevant information you have.

EE, I have to leave the office in a minute, I'll dig up more at lunch, but here is something I read the other day on the ILB: The Indiana Law Blog: Ind. Courts - All four judges/justices up for retention get high scores from ISBA members

Speaking as one who closely watches the courts, I find some of these poll results, from attorneys who are in the best positions to weight the qualifications and work product of the four jurists, surprising.

    Why? I wonder.

Thanks for posting this EE. Every election these come up, it's always the most difficult part of the ballot upon which to become educated.

I see Judge Pyle, "enjoys motorcycle racing, playing piano, martial arts, and competitive marksmanship." FWIW.
