STI 2011 Hex tac question

I have decided to get rid of my sig x-5 because it just doesn't feel natural in my hand, it shoots very well and is beautiful but just not for me. I am leaning towards the STI hex tactical 9mm as a replacement, I have never shot one and am looking for info from those that have. The weapon will no bout replace my duty and my daily carry, plus I shoot PPC alot. I mostly carry the 1911 platform so I'm guessing it would be a easy transition.

I have an STI Costa 2011 9 mm that I love. Great shooter!

I've shot STI and other similar 9mm 1911/2011 guns. As long as the gun is reliable and the mags are too, it'll feel like cheating...

I like to feel as I am cheating, if you feel you are in a fair fight you have bad tactics.
