Planning on stippling my glock this weekend. Wondering what advice you all have or pics of what y'all have done to your guns.

practice on a $3 basepad or two first. Make sure you like the pattern, heat level, get a feel for the process, etc.
don't go too deep and weaken the grip.

It looks like a job well done. I have had to take some fine sandpaper and smooth out some of the roughness a bit to het them just right.

I have been told that you can also do some practicing on the Glock Case, since it it made of the same material.

I'd suggest on your next stipple job to not worry about following lines. Random points and start filling in the spaces and then it will look more uniform. :twocents:

The pics of the one with the random "pattern" does look better to me. That being said, I am glad nobody could do that much damage to my 1911 with a soldering iron. :n00b:

I've seen a few youtube videos that give some good ideas. I would just watch a few to get some ideas for what NOT to do. If you're creative at all or handy with tools you should be able to figure it out. I like the idea of random points and filling in the spaces.

Another good place to practice is a pmag. During the long snowy winter last year that's how I killed some time! A small fan is nice too, plastic stinks..
