hi all i just got a stoeger double barreled coach shotgun 12 ga for home defense is this a good choice or did i make a poor choice

If it is all you have then it is a great home defense weapon.

Stoeger makes some great shotguns. They are owned by Beretta, who is well known for their great old-style shotguns. You did good!
