    A dealer at a show had left a .22 suppressor laying out on his table at one show. I saw it between 2 display cases and asked him if he knew it was there. He went a little white and thanked me as he had forgotten to put it back in the case.
    When we used to do that show it was interesting to see the parade of humanity go by. Sometimes you just got that feeling. We never lost anything but I'm sure we discouraged some by having 2 of us watching most the time.

    US Military use these? NSN = DoD.

    The NSN system is used by ALL Nato countries. Not just the USofA.

    However, each country in Nato has a two digit code for all of it's items. It's the second pair of numbers. 12. Is for West Germany and now just Germany.

    (00 and 01 is for the US)

    Those are exceeeedingly rare. Last one I saw sell online is 2005.
