A little history. In Oct of 2009 my house was broken into. I had 15 guns stolen, some have been recovered and returned. In May(ish) of 2010 I received a phone call from the detective who was over my case. He said that one of my pistols had been recovered in Georgia during a drug bust and the pistol was in the hands of the police dept. Fast forward a year and 3 months. I still have no idea if I will be getting my pistol back. The officer in charge in Georgia has said that it was up to the prosecutor and will not return emails. What are my options as far as getting my pistol back. Can I contact the Attorney General? I'm at a loss here.

Since the crime was committed here (burglary) in Indiana they might have legal presidence over it. You might try contacting the prosecutor of your county and ask him to contact Georgia.
