Been thinking about how to store my different sized ammo cans that are filled, in a secure type fashion. I know nothing is completely secure but looking for ideas on how to keep the quick grabs from happening if someone broke in to the house. Any thoughts or ways others have done it? I was thinking about a big job site lock box that they sell in big box stores.

I just keep mine in a closet. I keep my guns in a large safe but no room in there for ammo. I would hope thieves would rather take my computers, tablets and tv's. I have thought about about just a metal locking cabinet secured to a wall but have not got around to it yet.

Maybe run a steel braided cable through the handles, and a big padlock?

This is my method. Braided cable running through the handles and the lock hole for the plastic ammo cans. Then back around the shelving system. At least this way they will have to work to take the ammo. Plus lug it all up stairs.
