The safe that I have from Johnson came with pegboard on the door.
I bought "power pegs" to hang pistols on the pegboard.
I use these for my handguns, they are cheap and work well as long as you have some sort of shelves in the safe. The only caliber they will not work with is .22lr-
Well I happen to find them at H&H Firearms when I was there one day, a pack of three for like $9.99 (I believe)
They also sell them online, its a pretty good solution to free up some space. They are coated so that the inside of the barrels dont get scratched. Im sure one could easily make something like that, overall they have worked like a charm!
Would mounting peg board to my door ruin the fire rating?
I'm just wondering since I would have to drill into the fireliner to mount the pegboard.Note forsure about your safe but all Johnson safe's come with 1/2" ceramic fireliner rated at 2300 degrees for 1 hour.
