Taken one with a .17 150yds . was nice, no recoil, watched him drop in the scope. another with .223 didn't realize had got him, til all over, was trying to get his brother, out at 250+. Put a dime sized hole in his head. My boys took out a third with the SKS, blew his chicken eating shoulder clean out!! Haven't seen any lately to practice on

I took one last weekend with my .204. First time I killed anything with that gun. He was hiding in some downed trees almost 200yds out and all I could make out were his face and ears. Put one shot right through the gap in it's teeth.

It will work, I have a 120gr Vmax load for my 7mm, but its not going to be my first choice.

I would think it would be overkill. Especially a 7mm Rem Mag, lol.
