Suggestions on an AR pistol case

Currently building a 7" AR Pistol, and I realized I need a case for it!

I was looking at the LaRue Tactical Covert Case but I'm not sure I can justify $140...

What other options are out there for someone wanting quality at a good price?

The LaRue is a fantastic case. Made by Tactical Tailor IIRC.

If you like to carry ancillary gear along with your SBR or pistol I would recommend it, even at its $140 price point. The examples I've had my hands on were well-made and very versatile.

I was looking for something very specific for my SBR project. I ended up with a $92 DAP Discreet Case from Blue Force Gear. Its a great case and it fits my needs to a T, but I don't personally feel like it was worth the $92 I paid (and certainly not the $129 MSRP).

Check out Sporting Goods stores;

Look in the Air-Soft section. Some good buys there. It's what's inside that counts. Got an ArmyDigitalCam for my Carbon-15 for $12.99, w/ 15% coupon, @ Dunhams. Well padded w/½" foam covered in sateen, 22-inches x 10-inches x 5-inches at tapered end, 360° handles, zippered pouches w/ room for 6 or 7 magazines, hanging loop. Lacks a lockable zipper is all. Brand name "Allen." Definitely looks like a short-barreled something lives inside!
